Terms of Service
These terms of service are used to regulate the relationship between the 2BeGuru Company Limited online teaching platform (hereinafter referred to as "2BeGuru", "the platform" or "us") and the users of this platform, and to help you understand how 2BeGuru works.
When you log in and use 2BeGuru, you agree to these terms of use. These terms of use may be revised from time to time without notice. The updated terms will be announced on this platform.
Account registration
You need to agree to 2BeGuru's privacy policy statement and terms of use and become a registered account on this platform in order to use our services. When you register, we will ask you to provide personal information, such as personal Chinese and English name, email address, phone number, password, etc.
The information you provide in relation to the above terms is regarded as your identification, and we use this information to manage your account.
Account security
We try our best to maintain the safety of 2BeGuru, but we also need your assistance, including compliance with the following commitments:
· You must provide your true and correct name and information in 2BeGuru; you will not create an account for others without permission;
· You should not share your account password with others to prevent others from logging into your account or transferring the above account to anyone;
Three years access
We generally give a three years access license to our students when they enroll in a course. However, we reserve the right to revoke any license to access and use courses at any point in time in the event where we decide or are obligated to disable access to a course due to legal or policy reasons, for example, if the course you enrolled in is the object of a copyright complaint.
Personal privacy
2BeGuru’s privacy policy details and promises to strictly abide by the relevant provisions and data protection principles of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, Chapter 486 of the Laws of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and respect and protect your personal privacy data.
The service provided by 2BeGuru may involve the collection of learning materials and the use of big data to analyze the current situation. Therefore, when you register an account, you will agree to the collection and use of relevant data on this platform.
Sharing and disclosure of information
Without your prior consent, we will not disclose all the information collected about you by 2BeGuru to non-affiliated institutions or other persons, and ensure that you can use 2BeGuru without sharing personal information with external parties (third parties).
Intellectual property
All intellectual property rights of course content (hereinafter referred to as "content") published on 2BeGuru are owned by 2BeGuru and/or its Trainer. 2BeGuru grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and view the courses and associated content for which you have paid all required fees, solely for your personal, non-commercial, educational purposes in our platform. Without the prior written permission of 2BeGuru, no one may personally or participate in or allow any other person to directly or indirectly do the following:
· Download, copy, edit, publish, sell, modify, display and/or provide any content;
· Prepare or produce any derivative products based on content, post or use any content in other forms to achieve any public or commercial purpose;
· Use any content on any other website or network computer environment for any purpose; or
· When using this website or any content, infringe any person's intellectual property rights in other ways.
For courses published by instructors on 2BeGuru, instructors must ensure to 2BeGuru that they have complete intellectual property rights for the content, including copyright and publishing rights, and that they have not violated any copyright laws or current applicable laws. In case of legal disputes caused by any false statements and guarantees made by the instructor under this contract, the instructor shall be solely responsible for it and has nothing to do with 2BeGuru.
Under the protection of the "Copyright Ordinance" of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, you are not allowed to use or copy all the intellectual property rights of 2BeGuru, including copyrights, programs, trademarks or any similar marks that may cause confusion. Unless expressly provided otherwise, nothing you do on 2BeGuru or in connection with 2BeGuru will not constitute the assignment of any intellectual property rights or express or implied permission to exercise any intellectual property rights.
Termination
If you do not abide by this agreement or violate the spirit of this agreement, or otherwise pose harm or possible legal risks to us, we have the right to stop providing you with all or part of 2BeGuru services. We will notify you via email or the next time you try to log in to your account.
You can apply to us to cancel your account and request deletion of data at any time. If your account is cancelled, it will be marked as "Cancelled" in the database, but the personal data in your account may still be retained to resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems, assist in any investigations, avoid fraud, implement terms of service, or take other measures required or permitted by law.
Disclaimer
2BeGuru strives to ensure that the information and services it provides are accurate and reliable, but does not guarantee that such information and services are absolutely correct and reliable; for any decision, action or reliance on information and services contained in 2BeGuru due to inaccuracies or omissions, 2BeGuru shall not bear any legal responsibility (whether it is a tort liability or contract liability or other), obligation or liability for any loss or damage (including but not limited to corresponding loss or damage) caused or involved in action.
The videos, documents, images, materials, data or other materials published by the trainers and speakers in the 2BeGuru course are the sole responsibility of trainers and speakers. The opinions are purely their personal opinions. 2BeGuru does not guarantee the accuracy of such content. For accuracy, completeness or quality, the user shall be solely responsible for the use of all course content provided by 2BeGuru and any actions based on or relying on the course content.
If anyone feels inappropriate, false, harassing or any other illegal information about the content, he can report it to 2BeGuru through the website. 2BeGuru will follow up with tutors and guests, but 2BeGuru does not guarantee any follow-up results, nor will bear any legal responsibility.
In order to facilitate your access to information and services provided by or through other persons/groups, 2BeGuru may contain hyperlinks to external websites operated by third parties other than 2BeGuru. The hyperlinks to these external websites are provided for your reference only, but it does not mean that 2BeGuru endorses the content of these external websites. For any loss or damage (including but not limited to corresponding loss or damage) caused or involved in browsing or contacting the content of these external websites through 2BeGuru, 2BeGuru shall not bear any legal responsibility (whether it is a civil tort liability or contract liability or other).
Terms revision
When you use the information and services, you are deemed to have unconditionally accepted the above exemption clauses, and 2BeGuru has absolute discretion and can modify and/or amend the above exemption clauses from time to time without prior notice to you. The updated terms will be announced on this platform. If you continue to use our services, you clearly agree to the revised terms. In case of any dispute, 2BeGuru reserves the right of final decision.
Other
Nothing in this clause shall prevent us from complying with the law. When using 2BeGuru, you must comply with all applicable laws.
We are bound by these terms and have the right to freely conduct mergers, acquisitions or sales of related assets through legal or other legally-compliant channels.
We reserve all rights not expressly granted to you.
